I just started wearing eye makeup and I'm not sure how to do the eyeshadow and eyeliner. So could you give me some tips? Thanks! :)What are some good eye makeup tips?
You'll want to start with the liner first. Dont apply in one stright line, or, if you do, take a q-tip and smudge it across. Next, for a day-time look, use a light shade on your eye lid, next take a darker shade and use it in the crease. Always blend everything. You can also use a translucent white in the inner corner of your eye and right under your eyebrown to reflect the light.
xoxoWhat are some good eye makeup tips?
For a quick and easy look:
Use a light shade along your brow bone and in the corner of your eye
Use a medium shade all over you lid
use eyeliner on your upper and lower lash line or you can even use a dark eyeshadow color as a liner.
There are some great tips at marykay.com, see the links below.
I all depends on what look you are trying to achieve. Natural daytime look, Dramatic night time look. Either way the most important thing and, yes, somewhat clique but %26lt;i%26gt;less is more.%26lt;/i%26gt; You want to enhance more than look like you are painted up clown. Try using light earthy colors orange-y tones are really in but don't look good on everyone.
I usually start with my lightest eyeshadow first and put it in the corner of my eyes and under my eyebrow usually a vanilla color. I then take a light brown and dust that over the entire eyelid. then with the darkest brown I use a small straight brush to put it into the crease of the eyelid. This defines and makes your eyes pop. then you go in with the eyeliner. Depending on your eye shape and desired effect you may do something different but on a normal day I just put eyeliner on the outer corners of my eyes for a subtle look.
Its good to use many colors and blend. Just play with it and have fun. It will take some practice but you will get it down!
These are some of my favorite eye shadow sets and it defiantly is well worth the $1 to try. It is some of the best make up I have ever tried! The mineral eyeshadow is also great to try for more dramatic looks.
get waterproof eyeliner and put it on the inner-lids of your eye.
rim the inside of your eyes,do you get what im saying?
