ok so i'm going out of town for thanksgiving to nyc and one night we're going out into the city. so its like nice but not like formal. get it?
so here's the thing-- i really want to play up my eyes with like dark eyeliner. i don't want a smokey eye; just like definition to the eye area. in terms of what i'm doing other make-up wise. its just like foundation and peachy lip gloss.
and i figure a description might help so here goes. i'm a girl (late teens) with fair skin, green eyes, and ashy blonde hair with natural highlights. so the fact that i'm pretty fair is part of my dilemma because i don't want it to look like goth or anything like that but classy and elegant and pretty
thanks bunches. you're awesome ;]
Dark eye makeup tips for fair skin?
If I was you, I'd dress in golds and/or silvers so that your eye makeup doesn't look too harsh.
Something like this:

Hope this helps!
Dark eye makeup tips for fair skin?
i would reccomend a very thin line of black to denim blue eyeliner on the lower eye lid... it's ...femenine, but strong in its own way... its my favorite... remember to sharpen it, but not too much so it won't break. simple and cleam always works best for events like that and but a little more than anywhere else on the outside corner of your eyes... it makes them stand out in a pretty way.
have fun!
Start with a champagne, silver, white or pink shimmery shadow (not sparkly-shimmery). Apply it all over your eye lid and brow bone. Take a black liner (or dark eggplant/burgundy to play up the color of your eyes), and draw a thin line as close to your top lash line as possible-you want the eyeliner to disappear and look like your eye lashes are really thick and that's what's defining your eyes. Take the same color eye shadow and go over the line with the shadow, smudging it slightly to create a little bit of softness. With the same eye liner, line inside the rim of your lower lashes and on your lower lash line (water line). Go over this with the shadow, and use a lengthening mascara. Apply a bright white shimmer shadow to your brow bone to highlight it, and apply the same shadow to the inside corner of your eye (outside your tear ducts).
