smokey eye is kinda hard to explain in writing so if u want step by step pictures to help you out e-mail me, but i can help with the brushes, I go to a craft store to get brushes they are WAY better quality and last longer and u can get bundle packages. i would get a flat slanted brush, a typical round full brush, a full slanted brush [good for blending for smokey eyes. To accomplish a smokey eye there's really no wrong way. You want to have the darkest park on the outer corners and medium on the brow bone and a shimmery medium color on the lid and make sure u blend them together. i always like to put a white or silver in the inner corner to make my eyes pop out more. Like I said you can e-mail me or message me
if u live anywhere near a sally beauty supply they have the best makeup brushes there
victorias secret has some good smokey eyshadows
wear eyeliner on the top corners of your eyes and make a sideways V shape with dark eye shadow pointing like this %26gt; and then fill the remaining parts of the eyelid with a soft color and then put a darker color on top of that
dang i wish i had a picture this is confusing to explain!@!
get 3 shades of the same colour; navy, black, or brown. put the lightest shade all over your eye area, from lashes to brow bone. then put the second lightest colour up to the crease of your eye and BLENDDDD. then use the darkest as an eyeliner and smudge it with a cotton bud into the rest of the eyeshadow. remeber, NO HARSH LINES! :)
all brushes do the same thing, i get mine from the supermarket :)
hope this helped x
the thing is brushes are pricey but last forever. if you buy cheap ones than you will get bad quality blending expeisially on making smokey eyes. brushes i use are from Mac, the Kat Von D set from Sephora and Quo from Shoppers Drug Mart even some Est茅e Lauder brushed are super expensive but are amazing!!!
Heres what I do. I use a creamy silver in the inside courner of my eye and spread it all over the lid. I then take a silvery grey colour and add it to the middle of my eye lid to the outter courner. then next i take a charcole black in a big fluffy brush and blend it into the crease of my eyes. looks awesome but takes practice. line heavily in black eye liner %26amp; use lots of mascara!
I use Kat Von D make up its awesome the pallate with blue and black in it.
