Eye makeup tips/help?

Im just getting into make up so I dont really have any experience :)


My eyes are a dark brown, but sometimes when im standing in the light, they look like a light light brown:





1) For a more natural make up look: What shades of brown/tan would you prefer? Lighter than your skin tone? or darker?





2) Since I have brown eyes, what colors other than skin tone colors would look good for eyeshadow?





3) Would other colors of eye liner be good too? Which colors?





4) For mascara, do you guys use other colors besides black?

Just to let you know I'm this guys fiance.





1. I go a little darker.


2. I have brown eye and purple and blended blues look good.


3. The same color as the eyeshadow you are wearing looks good. Like purple eyeshadow looks good with purple eyeliner but like a plum purple not lilac or anything.

1) you could use both lighter and darker the lighter to highlight your brow bone and the darker for the lid( If you want a natural look just a little bit darker)


2)Most colors help bring out brown eyes(I have brown eyes to) purples, blues and greens are good Just a little bit though maybe in the corner of your eye for every day looks you know.


3)Yea but I'm personally not a fan of color liners again maybe blue purple and green.


4)Again not a fan of mascara and I could never find it in other colors when I did look for it.


It's more fun just to experiment with the make up when you've got the time and money, to see what works best for you that's what I do.

1) a little bit darker than your skin tone if its too lite then you won't be able to tell you wearing it lighter colors are best for all over lid color the darker (but just a tad darker) are best for crease

-*pretty much any color will look good on brown eyes because there is no color oppsite brown on the color spectrum so any color looks good*





3)If you have darker skin

bright eyeliners (for special occasions)would also look great no matter your skin color

4)black eyeliner really makes your lashes pop and look good but you can use brown and some companies have navy blue but i would just stick with black
