Tips for eye makeup? Please Help! ?

hey everyone, i was wondering what color eye shadow will look good with my eyes. the problem is i dont know what color they are. they change color. like they range from dark brown to nearly green (theres always a bit of brown in it)

right now its transitioning from brownish to green...strange, huh?





anyways, any tips for eye makeup i can use? colors of eye shadow? right now i am using brown eyeliner, with a purpley brown eye shadow...it doesnt look that great.
