I want to know in a step-by-step way as to how a black girl could create sexy, bigger eyes by using eyeshadow, eye liner and mascara. Right i used to struggle with this problem myself so you can trust me.. first of all its wise to invest in some eyelash curlers (just the cheap ones will do a good job).


After curling the lashes use a good black mascara to bring out the length, personally i think the best mascara to use is L'Oreal telescopic as its like a comb and seperates the lashes perfectly and it heightens the lashes so much they almost look fake!


As you said your black, so it must be hard to use the right colours to show up on your skin. I always think that June Sarpong the T4 and WAG's boutique presenter wears gorgeous eyeshadows for her skin. She tends to use very metallic bright colours, or an eyegloss which adds shine to the lids.


When it comes to making eyes look bigger, we should never use eyeliner on the inside of the eye as it make the eye appear smaller. If you still want to use eyeliner the best way to apply it is either just above the lashes in a neat line, or from the outside bottom corner of the eye and smudged to the middle and this will create the illusion of a more open eye.

Ok, these are the steps I use. I have almond shaped eyes but this should work on anyone.





1. Before eyeshadow, always put primer OR concealer on the eyelids - this makes shadow last way longer than without.





2. Use eyeshadow brushes rather than eyeshadow sponge as the brush defines the colour more %26amp; using sponge leaves remaining shadow on it so youd have to apply more like every bloody second!





3. Use a highlighter on the inner eyes, like a white,silver or sheer shimmer. This brightens the eyes %26amp; makes them look bigger %26amp; wider. Blend this into the middle of the eye.





4. For dark skinned girls, pastel colours look so sexy %26amp; gives your eyes all the attention, if you dont like pastels choose a colour that would suit your complexion - dont use dark coloured shadows like black. This would just close the eye up %26amp; its too dramatic.





5. When you apply shadow, blend it out to the outer eye to make it look like a side way V shape, this is the technique that works very well for small eyes too. It lengthens the eye %26amp; makes them appear larger.





6. Eyeliner - I use liquid, but if its too risky you can use a pencil. Start from the corner of the inner eye - as close to your lashline as possible %26amp; gently draw a thin line extending it into the outer eye. TIP: On the outer eye make the liner a slight bit thicker and flick it just a little bit - this would give the effect of cat eyes. Line inside your eye with eyeliner.





7. If you have naturally curled lashes your blessed, as for me an eyelash curler is a girls best friend! Curl your lashes BEFORE mascara NOT AFTER! some girls do this mistake and end up ripping their eyelashes off!





8. When you apply mascara, start from the lashline and slowly wiggle it up to coat all your lashes, i recommend not puttin mascara on the bottom lashes or you would look like Marilyn Monroe.. So 60's. Apply about 2-3 coats of mascara.





VOILA! U got sexilicious eyes!

Get smokey eyes. First apply three coats of mascara and for an alomond shape, apply a eyeliner [purple or black], those are the best colors and apply it gently or you'll mess up. There! You got your smokey and msyterious look! Thats all there is to it
seventeen magazine is by far the best place to find things like that. they have TONS of articles on how to use eyeshadow and things like that. however, with mascara, use a normal mascara (i use victoria's sercret ';very sexy';) to get color on your lashes, then put on a second layer with covergirl lash exact to make them longer and less clumped. its a garunteed way to get darker, longer lashes.

OOO um eyeliner, makes ur eyes like bigger and dry blueish or copper tone eyeshawdow..
you could use a white eye pencil inside the rim of your eyes to make them look bigger. also loads of long lashes will open up any eyes :)
