pinks, browns , greys, silvers and also white makes blue eyes pop!If your feeling gutsy, use a black or dark metalic silver smokey eye with liquid liner and lots of black mascara.
orange, purple, and light blue or navy.......

One of the best ways to make blue eyes pop (depending on the shade) is to put a natural earthy tone all over your eyelid (bronze type color), then take a warm blue shadow and swipe it across the of your eyelid, take a very light sky blue and blend up to brow bone. its amazing!

Black always makes blue eyes stand out, so you really shouldnt have a problem with the smokey greys and blacks
the lipgloss idea isnt as bad as it sounds!

although i use vaseline.... but yeh

haha

i have blue/green eyes and what i do is use liquid liner on the top lid (black), and then a small line of green/blue eyeshadow above the liner!

subtle and works!

and for the smokey eye, i would suggest something like this...

which i think looks gorgeous!
to make any color ver very vidrant just apply a small amout of lip gloss to your eye lid and then put the color over it the color stick way better and therfore is darker

white will no longer be a shimmer, it will be hella white

USE CLEAR LIPGLOSS LOL

If you have blue eyes, trying going for more colourful colours! Like blue (OBVS) and purple! Pink, if not used the right way tends to make the eyes look swollen. Go for a bright and open look. Use white to blend into colours and as highlighter.

For a smokey look, go for a blue smokey look, or a colour smokey look instead of the classical black. smudge the colour on your eye a bit for that pop!
brown looks great on blue eyes plus you can do a darker brown to do a smokey eye. do not listen to the first person you do not want to put purples or blues against blue eyes they will not make your eyes pop i have blue eyes and i'm also a professional make up artist. stick with colors that have brown or slightly orange tint to them and depending on your eye shape you can even use a little bit of black eyeliner to really make them pop. also make sure you have a good mascara and apply a couple of coats. also another great way to make your eyes pop is your eyebrows shaped properly. eyebrows make the biggest difference in the world. i would suggest to just go to a salon a splurge the $20 and go get them professionally waxed
