I need tips on eye makeup....?

I have started using contact lens..i want tips related to applying makeup for d eyes..should i be applying makeup before or after wearing the contact lens??also i would like to know what other precautions and tips i can use...thanks in advanceI need tips on eye makeup....?

You put on your contact lenses in before you put your makeup on because the lens might touch mascara before they are on your eye and that can irritate you. You also will have cleaner hands before your makeup because makeup can get your hands dirty and be hard to get off.





When you take off your makeup make sure you take off your contact lens first.





Theres nothing else to it. But if you wear fake eyelashes make sure you dont put eyedrops in or else your falsies will start to fall off.
First think you need to do is when you put your foundation on go over your eye lids and eyebrows with it as well as you will have base coat for you eye shadow to stick too.


I would place your contact lenses in after you have applied the eye shadow as when your eyes are closed using the brush or whatever you use it may cause irritation.


Best thing to do is over the whole eye lid is to place a very light cream/white or beige up to the eyebrow and then choose a dark colour to go just up to half way of the eye socket and then a darker on on just the eyelid. Then you can even place a lighter or darker colour in just the corner of the eye (towards the ear not the nose lol) you can then even extend this colour to just under the bottom lashes about quarter way. Then apply your mascara to you lashes little on the bottom and then more to the top to make them stand out!


You can curl your lashes before hand to make them look like they have been permed and you can also add eye liner if you do apply it to the top lid at the lash roots and then on the bottom but not all the way along.

i find that putting on all makeup, except mascara and eyeliner, before putting in my lenses works best.


then after putting in lenses, put eyeliner and mascara on.

You don't need to change anything about your makeup routine if you wear contact lenses. I wear them too. I'm just very careful about cleaning my face when I get home.
