Any tips for eye makeup?

Ive been having trouble with eyeliner; how to make it look natural... eyeshadow; what color to use, and how to apply; best mascara and how to apply it.. any suggestions?Any tips for eye makeup?
Eyeshadow: Applying eye make up takes practice and when applying eye shadow there are a few steps you need to follow.

You should always decide in advance how many eye shadow colors you are going to use.Choose your primary color first. This is the color that you want to stand out the most. You apply this color to the whole of your eyelid. The next step is to apply a lighter color above this color and below your eyebrow.

The entire area should be covered in one movment.

Eyeliner:

The first step to applying eyeliner is to draw a thin line as close to the base of your eyelids as you possibly can.You should always start at the inside corner of your eye and work your way out.If you find it difficult to complete this in one line short strokes can be used.

If you wish to create a dramatic look when you apply eye make up, you can also apply eyeliner to your bottom lids. This is done in the opposite direction to the top eyelids.

Mascara:

Mascara is the third process for applying eye make up. In order for your eyelashes to look their best it is worthwhile investing in an eyelash curler.

When applying mascara you should never pump the wand into the container. This pushes air into the container and in turn dries out your mascara. Instead simply insert the wand and turn it a couple of time before pulling it out.

You should only apply mascara by running the brush along your lashes. The direction of this should be away from your face. Only apply 2 coats and allow the mascara to dry in between. This will help to make your eyelashes appear thicker.

After applying your mascara, combing your eyelashes with an eyelash comb will help to remove any clumps that may appear and this will also separate your lashes to give them a fuller thicker look.

By following these tips for applying eye makeup, you will be well on your way to looking and feeling spectacular.

Apply shadow first and usually a shimmery color in a brown looks nice on anyone. Apply mascara so that each lash has a good black coat, and apply eye liner on the INNER RIM of your LOWER lid ONLY! This always looks the nicest and gives a cat like eye. This is what the stars do. It takes some getting use to because it kind of tickles. Also CURL your lashes, it will bring out your eyes 100%. Good luck
I apply brighter/deeper colors towards the lash, and nuetural/ lighter colors toward the brow. Also, I like XXL mascara, and you should AlWAYS smudge eyeliner. Also, emerald tones are coming back for eyshadow.
If you look anything like your avatar, you might want to try a peach eyeshadow with a slight fusion of gold. A peach or pink color will add warmth your eyes and the gold will add some shimmer to eyes; both will enhance your eyes. If you want a more natural application of eyeshadow, try using a pencil or eye kohl.

With a pencil you can control how much you apply and how polished you want the line to be. To get more of a natural look you may want to apply the eye liner and then take one of your fingers and lightly rub your lash line in a sweeping motion. Don't rub too hard because you may end up rubbing it off.
First rub the eyeliner pencil between your index finger and thumb to soften it and then dot the color( in short little dashes) onto lash line. Start at the outside corner of your top lash line, and work your way toward the inner corner. Stop where lashes end. Next use a cotton swab to smudge this dotted line toward the inside corner of your eye, creating a more natural look. You can use any color of eyeshadow just be careful with dark colors(there hard to get off some times). To put it on use a sponge-tipped application to sweep powder over the lid and up the crease. Switch to a finger tip if you use cream or gloss.then take another finger and feather the color above the crease so it fades toward your brow. For mascara start as close as you can to the root, drag the wand through your lashes, root to end. Wiggle it side to side a little to prevent clumps. You should try Cover Girl Remarkable Mascara or Mabelline Great Lash.
Depends on your skincolor... Eyeliner used on the inner part of the eyelid makes them look larger. Eyeshadows should be applied in 3 shades. Darkest used a a lining either in the crease of the eye or the base next to your eyelashes... follow by the lighter color - worked toward the end of the eyebrow, and the lightest color shadded in between the inner eye %26amp; beginning and middle of the eyebrow - hope that makes sense.....
